ANNA BLOMFIELD

STORYTELLER

Born in England, Anna Blomfield trained at St Martin’s School of Art and Liverpool School of Art in Fine Art and Printmaking. Moving to California in 1987, she became an animator and created backgrounds, layouts and storyboards. She also worked as a muralist, teacher, illustrator and cartoonist. In 2006 she moved to Moscow, Idaho, where she became fascinated by the farming, showed her work at farming conventions and held art shows at the John Deere dealership. She also had a monthly cartoon, “Palouse Report” in a local paper.

 

Before moving to New Mexico, she enjoyed 10 months drawing the architecture of Pittsburgh, followed by 3 years in Scotland drawing its magnificent cities and landscapes.
